Experience Macao

At the departures mezzanine of the Macao International Airport, MGTO (Macao Government Tourist Office) has created a space for the tourism promotion of Macao.
The space was called “Experience Macao”, showcasing different historical-cultural aspects of Macao, of its population and history, in a dynamic, interactive way allowing the transiting or departing passenger to enjoy, in a brief time, visual and graphical information on the most relevant aspects of the SAR’s tourism and identity, as well as to purchase typical products from Macao and Portugal.
The general concept for the display space is based on the creation of an image focused on an opaque and fixed “surprise object”, in a contrast with images set in transparent acrylic representing the daily life of Macau, and in tandem with the flexible and fluid structure of the general “staged” space.
