Entropic Chamber

The featured asymmetrical structure, a large-scale installation, is a visual mechanism designed specifically to explore the experiential aspect of perception. In assessing the information conveyed by an artwork, the question of cognition is raised: how much of what the eyes see is in fact assimilated by the brain and thus understood, in comparison to what is lost in the process of comprehension? This mechanical abstraction is manifested through both audio and visual stimuli whose aim is to examine the deceptive operation from a phenomenological standpoint.
