30° is the generatrix of this project
Utilising a design rule of 30 degrees, which is conditioned by the inclination of a generic escalator as a matrix for the geometry of this pedestrian bridge, that is, the flight of stairs contains the same inclination and the bridge façade itself incorporates elements generated by the same principle (e.g. openings and decorative lines).
The plan of the bridge shows the union of 2 directions, in which the glass cover marks the zenith feature (natural lighting during the day), and the walls of each of these directions are characterized by opposite colors, that is, the wall on the side of the Macau Jockey Club is green, similar to the wall from which its continuity comes, while the wall of the bridge that leads to the river side is orange.
